The Audrey model has been a favorite of mine and I was very keen to import another one. This time a D hole. I do love the tone that comes from the Cedar top of Audrey which offers a deeper tone to the popular spruce tops. I thought this would be enhanced further by this D hole model I have ordered. the Audrey is an accurate Selmer copy and features beautiful ovangkol (also known as African Rosewood) exterior, and mahogany interior lined with Poplar, on the back and sides. Ovangkol is an attractive hardwood indigenous to tropical West Africa. Its grain pattern closely resemble East Indian rosewood. It also shares some tonal characteristics with rosewood, but boasts the livelier "sparkle" found in such medium-density hardwoods as mahogany and walnut.
The combination of these woods, gentle pliage (arching) and light gloss finishings creates a stunning tone and volume that makes it hard to put down. It is a true masterpiece and offers great value for money. It also comes with an exceptional LC pickup.

LC PICK UP - Our entire range of Geronimo Mateos guitars all come with an “LC “ pick up. Designed and hand made by LUIS CEBEY : musician and electronic specialist. The design of both the pickup and the clamping system , make it possible to place, plug , unplug , and remove the pickup with great ease and without grating the top of the guitar. The internal wire is connected to an endpin jack.
